We did a great set, but I want some darker edits as I am in a horrible mood right now. Plus I wanted her to be almost fetal in some of the shots for this purpose.
Set preview coming in the future. Will be on both her personal website and poisonapplez.com

New zivity sets up
I have been so lucky lately, with a good amount of work.
These things always happen at the times when I need it most, so despite never feeling like a lucky person, I guess I am lucky in a way.
In hobby news, I had two sets go live on Zivity.com
I am fine with nude photography, but I like to keep my images classy.
Because I am a woman, I think this helps me to always ensure that any sexuality in an image is still beautiful and classy.
My first set is of model KessM who is an incredible model (and so flexible!)
We shot in my basement. Check out Penance and Pain
My second set is of my awesome pal Lydia, we met when I was in college and I was looking for ladies to photograph. I did awful most of the time but she still would come all the way out to give me another shot.
This one was shot in my living room, on a table, we made a set with some spare fabrics I had laying around!
We've worked together a bunch of times now, and she rocks!
Check out the performer

Hugo
One of my most recent non-jobby jobs (not architectural) was for a local musician.
One of my favorite models to work with, Lydia helped out.

Arizona
I was in Arizona from the 12th - 15th (actually longer because my standby flight was full)
It's weird to be the only person in an airport. Aside from the creepiest guy in Phoenix on night shift.

I saw hummingbirds for the first time. Tons of them. They are FAST, one of the ones I was trying to shoot was literally hovering (humming) in front of my lens, and in the millisecond it took me to push the shutter it shot straight down, then buzzed away in frantic linear courses. They fly in like, Z patterns, and fight eachother for the best feeding spots. These two were fighting, but the moment I caught it (barely) it looks like they are kissing :D
I was staying on top of a mountain, in Prescott. The weather there is about 15-20+ degrees cooler than Phoenix (thank god) so it was actually around high 70's-80's during the day, then around sixties at night. I didn't see one snake, scorpion, tarantula, deer, roadrunner, or coyote.

Just a jackrabbit, too many bees, black bumblebees (they're huge, but don't mess with me), humming birds, and a dead rotting stinking catfish.

Many, many cacti, and plants.

i have more images.. happy snaps if you will : http://shuttereffect.com/AZ/

Nikk Noir

I worked with Nikk Noir for the first time this past Thursday.
I have only worked with one other hair+MUA, so this was a really fun and new experience for me.
She did amazing work!
Here are two images that I shot of Rachel Dashae
(whos blog you can find here: http://racheldashae.blogspot.com/)
This was my second time shooting Rachel. She is from out of state, and I love working with her.

The wonders of Rachel aside, I'd like to show off some of Nikk Noir's fabulous hair and makeup work, with photographs taken by photographers other than myself:
You can find her portfolio on model mayhem, here: http://www.modelmayhem.com/580407

Abandonment Details

Without a tripod my shooting inside these abandonments was limited to either super noisy or blurred images, unless I could set the camera on something to allow for longer exposures.
The pictures are all pretty much snapshots but I got a few fun details, with some nice textures and colors.
But first, a fun hallway shot. Eeeeerie!
